MODEL 1700 DIFFERENTIAL AC AMPLIFIER
PERFECT FOR EXCITABLE TISSUE RECORDINGS
Ideal for multiple-unit recordings, evoked potentials,
EEG/EMG/EKG/ERG recordings, long-term potentiation and more. The Model 1700 Differential AC Amplifier is perfect for excitable tissue recordings, whether in a reseach laboratory or teaching environment.

Common applications include, but are not limited to:

  • Multiple-Unit Recordings
  • Evoked Potentials
  • EEG/EMG/EKG/ERG recordings
  • Long-term Potentiation

The Model 1700 Differential AC Amplifier contains 4 independent amplifier channels in a single enclosure enabling the researcher to record multiple signals simultaneously. Each channel contains a high-gain, low-noise differential stage followed by low-pass, high pass, and notch filters. A connection is also provided for a stimulator input so that recording or stimulating through the same electrode is possible without having to change cabling.

MODEL 1800 2-CHANNEL MICROELECTRODE AC AMPLIFIER
EXTRACELLULAR RECORDING/STIMULATING WITH HIGH-IMPEDANCE METAL MICROELECTRODE
Each channel of the Model 1800 contains a high-gain, low-noise differential
amplifier stage followed by low-pass, high-pass, and notch filters. The Model 1800 Microelectrode AC Amplifier is a two-channel, differential amplifier intended for extracellular recording and/or stimulating with high impedance metal microelectrodes in research and teaching applications. Ideal for single-cell spike recordings, it can also be used in a number of research or teaching applications requiring extracellular neurophysiological recording from excitable tissue such as nerve, muscle (EMG), EEG, EKG, and ERG recordings.

Headstages for Model 3600 16-Channel Amplifier

16-Channel Stimulating & Recording Headstage
For simultaneous stimulation and recording on any combination (or all) of the 16 channels when paired with our Model 3600 Amplifier. Capped in the Omnetics Corporation nanominiature connectors, we can provide adapters for use with other electrode configurations, including the Michigan Probe. This headstage uses fast switching relays (microsecond switching times, not milliseconds!) to control signal paths between stimulating and recording modes.

Or perhaps you want to record up to 217 Channels from an awake behaving animal, but can’t afford the design, engineering, and production of a custom commutator to allow it?Now you can record what you want as much as you want! With the new MultiRecord System!Utilize a simple commutator to record high channel counts:
  • 31 Channels over a 3-line commutator!
  • 62 channels over a 4 line commutator!
  • 124 channels over a 6-line commutator!
