- UP-100IH Core Systems
The UP-100IH is the preferred system for simple compound screening that requires basic measured parameters such as aortic pressure, left ventricular pressure (isovolumetric LVP) and ECG Lead II measurement. The UP-100IH cannot be expanded to a working ejecting heart system.
The UP-100IH Core System, Basic is the more common configuration. It allows the researcher to measure two to three parameters in addition to those that are included in the standard system (aortic pressure and LVP). Most researchers will also want to operate in a constant pressure perfusion mode and measure coronary flow, which is a simple addition to the basic system. The basic system comes with a small amplifier housing, the advanced one with a full 19” rack for possible additional modules.
The UP-100IH Core System, Advanced allows up to the full range of available measured parameters beyond the basic system including direct coronary flow, ECG lead II, temperature measurement and metabolic parameters (pH, pO2, pCO2). If your chosen options require more than 10 slot units, you need the Advanced system.
- Flow Measurement Option for UP-100IH
Flow measurement can be accomplished in a UP100-IH system iusing two methods.
- Indirect measurement by controlling the pump sped of a roller pump (SCP controller)
- Direct measurement with the ultrasound transit time technique (TTFM-2 module)
- Oxygenating System Options for IH-SR, IH-5 and UP-100IH (for Foaming Solutions)
Choose this option if you are using buffer supplemented with albumin, fatty acids, washed erythrocytes, or other foaming additives.
- Cell Isolation Upgrade for UP-100IH
Add this upgrade to a UP-100IH system for cell isolation/cell extraction applications.
Includes collagenase reservoir, magnetic stirrer, stopcocks, tubing and connectors.
- Cannulating Option for UP-100IH (for Effluate Collection)
Option for cannulating rat, guinea pig or small rabbit pulmonary artery for effluate sampling from a UP-100IH functional system.
